Q-FARMA SPA
Q-Farma is a new key player in the pharmaceutical distribution supply chain. Its roots lie in independent pharmacy owners who, decades ago, chose to join forces.
The company was created through the merging of two historic players in intermediate distribution: CEF, established in 1934 in Brescia, and UNICO, founded in 2002 as a consolidated distribution organization made up of several cooperatives.

Q-Farma needed to create a major wholesale hub for pharmaceutical specialties in Poncarale (BS) to serve the main provinces of North-East Italy.
Our Solutions
For the Poncarale (BS) facility, we built a traditional pallet racking warehouse for the storage and handling of approximately 10.000 pallets (800 × 1200 mm), complete with accessories such as protective guards, wire mesh decks, and anti-fall safety nets.
For the storage of plastic bins and cardboard boxes, “carton flow” frames with roller tracks were installed, featuring different levels of inclination.
The system is serviced by reach trucks, stacker cranes, and motorized conveyor lines.
