For over twenty years, Dalmine Logistic Solutions has partnered with Macron in the development of its logistics infrastructure.
The brand’s international growth, now spanning more than 40 countries through a network of over 200 Macron Sports Hubs, required a new step forward: the development of Distribution Center 2 (DC2), a facility designed to increase capacity, flexibility, and operational efficiency.
The new logistics hub was created to support the management of more than 15,000 SKUs across styles, colours, and sizes, ensuring high service levels and maximum scalability to sustain future business growth.

Requirements
Macron’s continuous growth led Distribution Center 1 to reach capacity well ahead of forecast.
Increasing volumes, growing order management complexity, and the need to handle seasonal peaks more efficiently made the development of a new logistics facility essential.
The objective was to create a system capable of integrating two logistics centres into a single distribution network, increasing storage capacity while improving the overall efficiency of operational flows.
Our Solutions
Dalmine Logistic Solutions designed and delivered the new DC2, one of the most significant high-level picking facilities in the sportswear sector.
The installation extends vertically across more than 21 levels and enables the management of over 100,000 boxes through high-density picking systems supported by vertical order-picking trucks.
The structure was designed according to principles of modularity and scalability, allowing future expansions and the integration of new automation systems.
At the same time, the project included the reorganisation of existing logistics operations and the creation of a new Embellishment department, helping to improve the efficiency of Macron’s entire supply chain.
The result is an integrated logistics ecosystem capable of supporting the brand’s international growth and enabling its future development.
