Requirements

The Casalasco Tomato Consortium has always stood out in its market for its forward-thinking approach across all business activities, starting with the very first carton brick packaging. For the Rivarolo del Re site, in the province of Cremona, a high-capacity storage solution was needed—one capable of optimizing flows, meeting daily operational demands, and preserving the product’s quality characteristics.

Solution

For the Rivarolo del Re (CR) plant, we built a Shuttle warehouse for the storage and handling of 40,000 pallets (800×1,200 mm) within an area of 17,900 sqm. The structure, served by reach trucks, enables multi-depth storage of up to 12 pallet positions per tunnel. Thanks to the use of 10 Shuttles, the entire system allows for the handling of 1,200 pallets per day, ensuring continuity and efficiency in logistics operations.
