Inaugurated by the then Prime Minister Mario Monti, Barilla's factory in Rubbiano (PR), specialising in the production of sauces, needed a logistics department able to cope with ever-increasing flows in order to support shipments.
The solution designed and built by Dalmine LS was a seismic-resistant shuttle shelving system. The structure occupies a floor area of just 300 square metres, is supported by front-mounted trolleys and can store up to 15 pallets deep per aisle. The seismic-resistant shuttle shelving system is the perfect solution for high-level pallet handling, optimising the floor space and allowing intensive product storage.
