Dalmine Logistic Solutions was awarded the High Honour of Financial Statement during the ceremony "Industria Felix - L'Italia che compete 2021".
The Piacenza-based Dalmine Logistic Solutions, which has achieved distinction in management performance and financial and budgetary reliability, is a leader in Italy in the construction of storage systems.
With two production hubs located in Potenza and Graffignana (LO), Dalmine LS, thanks to its expertise and engineering know-how, provides industrial solutions for intensive storage.
"We have picked up the legacy of a company with over 70 years of manufacturing history behind it," says Andrea Cammi, CEO of Dalmine LS. " Since 2015, we have opened a new chapter for the company by defining a new development strategy. We have focused on the future of logistics, identifying three key factors: the increase in the supply chain's digitalisation, by means of more widely used systems for the electronic exchange of information, combined with a growing awareness of environmental sustainability. Plus, the rise in automation of material handling processes in logistics platforms, which is and will be a critical factor in boosting competitiveness."
This third challenge closely concerns Dalmine LS, which today represents a HUB of innovative logistics solutions, thanks to its important commitments in Engineering and Consulting activities.
"In addition to these activities, we have combined a thorough analysis of our entire production range and major investments in our plants. Our mission is to provide the best possible solution for our customers, working alongside them and supporting them in their growth" ends Cammi.
The event, which took place on Thursday 25 November 2021 at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, is the culmination of a journalistic research conducted by Industria Felix Magazine - a quarterly economics and finance magazine edited by Michele Montemurro, a supplement to Il Sole 24 Ore - in collaboration with Cerved, Italy's largest information provider.
The survey analysed the financial statements of over 850,000 companies with registered offices in Italy. 160 companies were awarded for their management performance, financial reliability and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) values. The summary of the survey, extracted with respect to an objective balance sheet algorithm ordered by decreasing EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation) and other parameters, was submitted to the attention of the Scientific Committee made up of high-profile economists, entrepreneurs and managers, coordinated by delegates from LUISS Guido Carli University and Confindustria.
Also speaking at the event were the Presidency of the Council of Ministers' Undersecretary of State for Technological Innovation and Digital Transition Assuntela Messina, Copasir President Adolfo Urso, Confindustria Vice-President Vito Grassi, and Simest CEO Mauro Alfonso.
"I would like to thank the Dalmine LS team, a group of special people, from the headquarters in Piacenza, to the production plants in Potenza and Graffignana, agencies and dealers in Italy and Europe who have enabled us to achieve these results. Many thanks to them and their families". Andrea Cammi - CEO of Dalmine LS.
